Your BroncMail account is being upgraded to 25GB. Upgrade begins on June 24th, and we expect your account to be upgraded by June 28th. During this time there may be short periods where logins to BroncMail produce an error. If this happens, please refresh your browser and try again. If you need assistance, contact the IT Help Desk at (956) 665-2020.

What does this mean for you?

After the upgrade you will have two separate accounts with the same user name and password that you use to access your BroncMail account.

1. BroncMail account. This account gives you access to your school email. UTPA administers this account.

2. Personal Microsoft account. This personal account will give you access to all your existing SkyDrive content, Messenger, and other Microsoft services. Note that UTPA no longer administers this account. As a result, we cannot reset the password for you.

What should you expect?

Email. When you click on an email message in the my.UTPA.edu portal, you will notice that the Microsoft login page has a new look!

SkyDrive Content. The Office drop-down menu will be removed from BroncMail. If you use the Office drop-down menu in your BroncMail to access, create, and store documents, you will still have access to your documents directly through SkyDrive.live.com

What do you need to do?

Complete the following steps:

1. If you are using Internet Explorer 6 or 7, upgrade to a newer version of Internet Explorer.

2. If you use Outlook to read your email and you are using Microsoft Office 2003, upgrade to Outlook 2007, Outlook 2010, or Outlook 2013 to continue using Outlook. If you don’t have Outlook, you can download a free copy of Microsoft Office at Bronc Software inside my.UTPA.edu.

3. Access your BroncMail and calendar at my.utpa.edu.

4. Access your SkyDrive content at https://skydrive.live.com.
