Teatro Luna, a Latina performance ensemble based in Chicago that has been committed to promoting Latina talent on Chicago stages and beyond, is coming to UTPA on Wednesday June 19th! Their "performances will take you through a range of emotions: from levity with a musical number about online dating networks, to the more somber, with a monologue about a little girl getting left behind after her mother has been deported.” They “promise hilarity and heartbreak as you witness the full range of drama that makes up our lives as ‘proper latin girls’ in the USA."
