If you are an instructor of record for Spring 2013 courses, you may have received a survey from fsse@fsse.org on behalf of UTPA Provost, Dr. Havidán Rodriguez. Recently, a number of our students participated in a national survey that asked them about their college experience, how much time they spend studying, and the types of interactions they have with faculty. The results from the study are used in a variety of ways, including assessment, institutional improvement, and for prompting discussions on teaching and learning initiatives.

In order to prepare for a discussion of these results, you are invited to complete a faculty version of the survey. This survey will take about 15-20 minutes to finish.

Please check your email as you may have received invitations to participate in this survey from fsse@fsse.org on April 2, April 10, April 17 and April 23.

Please email help@fsse.org for assistance if you have any difficulty logging in. More information about FSSE is at http://www.fsse.iub.edu.

Your participation is voluntary and your responses will be confidential and kept anonymous to anyone at UT Pan American. All faculty responses will be summarized by the Center for Postsecondary Research at Indiana University. Should you have any questions about this project and our interest in using the results, I encourage you to contact Mr. Marcelo Paredes at mparedes1@utpa.edu or 956-665-7926.
