Working away from your office? You can access campus resources, such as Oracle E-Business, Banner and Network shares (Remote Desktop) by using the Virtual Private Network (VPN) to connect securely.
To use it, you need to install the Fortigate Client on your computer, or configure your iPad or Android tablet. You can find instructions for this on the Help & Downloads Section of myUTPA (https://my.utpa.edu). You can then connect to your computer remotely using Remote Desktop Connection.
If you have never connected remotely, you can get started by calling 956-665-2020 to enable your office computer to be accessed remotely.
