Since the Fall of 2006, The State of Texas has enforced an Enrollment CAP for students attending a public college and universities within the state. The Enrollment Cap is calculated, in part, on the number of hours required for a student to complete their specific degree plan. If a student exceeds this number, it does not mean they cannot enroll in courses, but it does mean that they will be charged a fee per semester credit hour for all enrolled credits in addition to their standard tuition rate. This charge will be increasing to a higher fee beginning fall 2013.  These workshops will help cover policy and help students answer any questions they may have about the enrollment cap policy
