Description: The Microsoft Exchange Email system will be down for maintenance to install the latest upgrade. During the upgrade both inbound and outbound email will be intermittently held and accumulated in the queue during several time periods of the day. This will be experienced by all Email clients such as Outlook on computers (desktops and laptops) and Exchange ActiveSync on mobile devices (iPads, smart phones, etc) including Outlook Web Access (outlook.utpa.edu).
Customers Impacted: All Exchange Users using Desktop Clients such as Outlook and Mobile Device Clients such as iPhone, Android Phones, Windows Phones, iPad Tablets, Android Tablets.
Cause: The Microsoft Exchange Email system will be upgraded to stay current with latest supported version by Microsoft Inc.
Outage Duration: Sunday, December 30th, 2012 from 12:01AM to 11:59PM.
