Funded by the U.S. Department of Education, the Mathematics Department will award several Graduate Assistance in Areas of National Need (GAANN) Fellowships (see GAANN flyer here at
http://math.utpa.edu/gaann/Flyer.pdf). When awarded, these fellowships will support your pursue of graduate study, master's and potential Ph D programs collaborative with other institutions, in mathematics through a generous stipend/scholarship plus educational expenses to cover tuition and fees (total could be up to $30,000 per calendar year, depending on individual need as determined by the FAFSA application).
How to Apply Applicants are asked to submit the GAANN Application Form directly to the Mathematics Department. After a preliminary evaluation by the Department, selected candidates will be asked to officially apply to the Graduate School. You may contact GAANN Program Director Prof. Qiao at
