Public Service Announcement for Memorial Day Weekend

The UTPA Police Department would like to encourage everyone to have a safe and enjoyable Memorial Day weekend.  A part of having a safe holiday includes wearing seat-belts.  

According to the Texas Transportation Institute, it is estimated that seat-belt use saved nearly 3,000 lives and another 48,000 fewer people suffered major injuries.
