Your UTPA Bronc Mail account which is provided by Microsoft Live@Edu is also a Live.com account that offers you access to Windows Live Services including Windows Sky Drive. SkyDrive is a cloud-based service that lets you store and share files. This week, Microsoft announced some changes to SkyDrive that may affect you. All users are being given 7GB of free storage, however If you used SkyDrive before April 22, 2012, Microsoft is offering a loyalty incentive where for a limited time you can log in to your SkyDrive and upgrade your storage space from 7GB to 25GB.
To upgrade your SkyDrive from 7GB to 25GB, please go to https://skydrive.live.com and sign in with your Windows Live ID. If you qualify, you will see a banner at the top of the page informing you of the free upgrade. Click on the banner and you will be redirected to manage your storage. Click the Free upgrade! button. Enjoy your free upgrade to 25 GB! These changes also apply to any other personal @hotmail.com, @msn.com, and @live.com you may have.
