Network Maintenance - Tuesday July 26th from 11:00pm to 1:00am (Edinburg RAHC Core Switch Replacemen

Please refer to network maintenance notification below from our Internet Service Provider (ISP).

 

Our ISP will be replacing core network equipment at the Edinburg RAHC on Tuesday night beginning at 11:00pm. The maintenance window has been set from 11:00pm to 1:00am.

 

During the maintenance window, all UT institutions and customers in the Rio Grande Valley will experience several brief outages as services automatically fail over to redundant paths as the work is performed. Please refer to notification below for additional details. This work will only impact Internet & Internet2 access for UTPA. It will not impact any UTPA intra-campus communication as it involves equipment configuration outside our campus.

 

Should you experience any problems after this maintenance window, please contact the Helpdesk at extension x2020. In addition, please feel free to forward this information to staff and faculty in your departments who may find this information pertinent. Thank you.
