Network Maintenance - Sunday January 16th from 8:00am to 12:00pm
Good afternoon everyone!
Please refer to emergency network maintenance notification below from our Internet Service Provider (ISP).
Our ISP will be upgrading their Austin core router this Sunday January 16th starting at 8:00am through 12:00pm.
During the maintenance window, all UT institutions and customers in the State of Texas will experience a drop at the beginning and end of the maintenance window as services automatically fail over to redundant paths. However, additional drops may be experienced during this window if further testing is required. Please refer to notification below for additional details.
Please note this work will only impact Internet & Internet2 access. It will not impact any UTPA intra-campus communication as it involves equipment configuration outside our campus.
Should you experience any problems after this maintenance window, please contact the Helpdesk at extension x2020. In addition, please feel free to forward this information to staff and faculty in your departments who may find this information pertinent. Thank you.
