Network Maintenance - Campus Wide - Thursday August 27th, 2009 at 11:59pm
The Network Services Department, in collaboration with the Information Security Office, has scheduled campus firewall maintenance this coming Thursday night, August 27th. The work is scheduled to start at 11:59pm. We expect this work to be completed within one hour, but we are giving ourselves a two hour maintenance window to address any unforeseen difficulties that may arise in the process.
During this maintenance window Internet connectivity and wireless network access will go up and down intermittently for the following buildings as we proceed with the scheduled maintenance:
Information Kiosks
Auditor’s Office
Payment Gateway Systems
Auxiliary Services
Residence Halls
Cameras for Auxiliary Services
WeatherBug
Police Department
Payments and Collections
President’s Office
This work will not impact any other intra-campus network communication.
