2009-2010 FAFSA Application

Greetings Broncs!!

It’s time to complete your 2009-2010 FAFSA Application!  Make sure to apply before the April 1 UTPA Priority Deadline.

The FAFSA is the one application you need to complete in order to apply for most Federal and State grants, loans and work-study. But you need to do it before April 1st!

By completing your FAFSA before April 1st you:
•    May qualify for UTPAdvantage
•    May qualify for more money from limited funding programs (things like Texas Grant, Work-Study, Perkins Loan)
•    Will have the peace of mind knowing that you’ve taken care of all your educational financial needs BEFORE tuition is due (or if corrections or verification are needed, there’s plenty of time for that too!)

Completing a FAFSA is easier than ever.  All you need is:
•    Your (and your parents, if you are a dependent student) 2008 income tax returns
•    Your (and your parents, if needed) electronic PIN number to electronically sign your FAFSA

Plus if you need assistance, we can help!  Come by our fully staffed Financial Aid Express Lab located on the 1st Floor of the Student Service Building (the one with the Bronc statue in front) right next door to the Financial Aid Office and receive one-on-one assistance.

We’re open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.   Wednesdays from 8 am to 6 pm and we’ll be open from 8 am to 7 pm March 23 through March 26 and March 30 through April 1.

For more information, please log on to www.utpa.edu/finaid or call us at 956-381-2501.

Don’t forget: DO YOUR FAFSA!
