We thought you might like to know a little about the people behind the project.
Anne Toal - Project Lead
I'm UTPA's Technology Assessment Officer, responsible for assessing technologies for suitability of use at the University. Another project I was recently involved with is the Desktop Computer Refresh program, which replaced 200 of the most out-of-date computers on campus desktops with new equipment. Last Fall I worked with HESTEC to bring The Microsoft Experience to UTPA.

Dr. Jesus Tanguma - Head of Research
Dr. Tanguma is an associate professor of Quantitative Methods at The University of Texas Pan American. While at UTPA, he has served as Assessment Coordinator as well as Director of Undergraduate Programs, COBA. His prior research has appeared in various journals including Educational and Psychological Measurement, Educational Research Quarterly, Perceptual and Motor Skills, Journal of Intercultural Disciplines, Leadership Review, and Journal of Leadership Education and in various national and international conference proceedings. He has also authored a book chapter on using repeated measures designs in univariate and multivariate analysis of variance inn a methodology textbook: Advances in social science methodology

Erika Flores - Assistant
Erika is currently employed with the Division of Information Technology, where she assists on communications for The eBooks Project. She graduated from UTPA in the Fall of 2008, with a Bachelors in Political Science and English, and she is now in the process of pursuing a Masters in English. As soon as she receives her graduate degree she intends to enroll in law school and specialize either in international or immigration law.
Esther Dominguez - Project Manager
Esther has a BA in Computer Information Systems and a Masters of Public Administration from UTPA. She has been working at UTPA for quite some time in various capacities, as a Grants & Contracts Specialist within the Division of Academic Affairs, and as a Business Analyst within Business Affairs. I’m currently working in the Project Management Office (PMO) within the Division of Information Technology, as a Project Manger. Since transferring to PMO in December 2007, Esther has been involved in the management of several Oracle EBS Financials projects. Most recently I have been working on the management of several projects including the Telephone Call Accounting project, Labor Distribution project, and The eBook Project.
