Pagán Receives Service Award

Dr. José Pagán, CoBA economics professor, received the 2009 Service Award to ASHE by an Individual, announced Dr. Marie Mora, president of the American Society of Hispanic Economists (ASHE). Pagán was selected because of his membership recruitment efforts during the past two years. This was the first time the award was given, and it will be given biennially.

Quiroga Wins iPod

Abdiel Quiroga, a freshman finance major, was the lucky winner of the iPod given away by CoBA to promote timely advisement and registration. Quiroga was excited to win the drawing and said that he had never won anything before. He was very excited to know luck was on his side this time.  CoBA advisor, Blanca Robles said that almost 3,000 students qualified for the iPod giveaway.
