Seabird 2009 was a search and rescue readiness exercise involving both the US Coast Guard and the US Coast Guard Auxiliary. USCG Auxilirists from Austin, San Antonio, South Padre Island, Victoria, Corpus Christi, Flour Bluff and McAllen participated in the exercise.
Fred Mann produced, shot and edited the video. Virginia Mann provided the narration. The date for the operation was May 30, 2009.
This video special was produced, shot and edited by Fred Mann in late April, 2009 at the International Boat Show in Corpus Christi. This is the largest boat show in the United States.

Bronc Radio's advisor, Fred Mann, was attending a fund raiser for a local museum at the Armstrong Ranch 28 miles north of Raymondville. During that time, a brush fire developed and burned close to 1000 acres on March 28th, 2009. Check out the photos uploaded to CNN's I-Reporter.
