Dameworth will compete at the setter’s position as well as see action as an outside hitter as a freshman......Named All-State by the Texas Girls’ Coaches Association as a senior at FRANKLIN HIGH SCHOOL....... Earned honors as both the Outstanding Hitter and the Outstanding Setter in District 1-5A ......A TGCA West all-star, Dameworth was named first team All-City by the El Paso Times......The Most Valuable Player in the Bev Ball Classic, Dameworth was also named to the All-Tournament Team at the Sweet Sixteen Tournament in Las Cruces, New Mexico...... Named Miss Volleyball for El Paso .........The captain of her team, Dameworth averaged 3.67 kills per game last season for Franklin HS.... She also averaged .395 aces per game, and 0.8 blocks per game....... In her three years as a member of FHS’s varsity team, her team went undefeated in district play (29-0) and won three consecutive district championships........Franklin’s overall record during those three years was 83-15, and they won a playoff match for the first time in school history during her senior season.......Also played basketball (center) and softball (pitcher and shortstop)......Born December 7, 2003...........Daughter of Michael and Debbie Higgins......Has a brother, Bret, and a sister, Kara......Majoring in Kinesiology with a minor in History at UTPA.
