Chrissie Carrigan
5-11, Freshman, OH, Victoria, BC (Mount Douglas SS)

One of several talented newcomers who should contribute immediately as freshmen, Carrigan played on teams that won provincial championships in British Columbia at both the high school and club levels.....Named first team All-Province as a senior at MOUNT DOUGLAS SECONDARY SCHOOL, Carrigan was also chosen first team All-Vancouver Island, and also earned first team All-Tournament honors at the Provincial Championships, when her team defeated Prince George for the title in three games....She led her team in digs both as a junior and as a senior, and had her team’s best passing average.... Carrigan also played for the Gold Medal Mount Douglas School club team, which won the provincial title and finished second in Canada.....A versatile athlete, Carrigan also earned All-League and All-Vancouver Island honors as a power forward in basketball, and threw the javelin for the track and field team.....Born February 26, 1985.....The daughter of Tim and Helen Carrigan.......Has a sister, Donna........Will major in Fine Arts with a minor in Business Administration at The University of Texas-Pan American.
