Junior (2001):  Finished 7th in the discus with a throw of 142'06.0" in the Texas A&M Invitational (4/14)...  Had a season best shot put throw of 39'02.5" in the same meet.

University of Louisiana-Monroe:  All-Conference Athlete in discus and shot put in 1997-98 and 1998-99...  Had career throws of 45'03.0" in the shot put and 154'00.0" in the discus...  Finished 6th in the Southland Conference in the shot put and 3rd in the discus.

At Mission High School:  Had her best throws of 43'02.0" in the shot put and 136'02.0 in the discus...  Finished fourth in state in the discus and shot put...  Named Most Improved Athlete in track (1994-95), Most Improved Athlete of the Year (1995-96), and Most Outstanding Field Events Performer (1994-95, 1995-96, 1996-97)...  Her senior year, was discus District Champ and was second in the shot put...  Also finished third in Regional competition in both the discus and shot put...  As a junior, was discus and shot put District and Regional Champ and finished fourth in state in both the discus and shot put...  Was Regional and District Champ in the discus as a sophomore while finishing 6th in state competition...  Was named to the All-Millennium Track team of the Rio Grande Valley in 2000...  Also a member of the Cross-Country team...  Strong athlete in the classroom, graduating in the  top 10% of her class.
