UT-Pan American Men’s Cross Country Team Finishes Fourth at Baylor

WACO – The University of Texas-Pan American men’s cross country team finished fourth at the 1999 Baylor Invitational Cross Country Saturday morning at the Texas Farm Bureau Course.

On the men’s side, Danny Salazar took 18th place with a time of 28:06 for the eight kilometer course.  Julio Aguilar (Pharr) was 22nd in 28:20, his brother Eddie was 25th in 28:32, Israel Arroyo was 26th in 28:35, Carlos Gallegos was 31st in 30:12 and Adrian Palacios was 32nd 30:45.

In the team standings Baylor slipped past McNeese State, 39 to 43, Northwood finished third with 49 points, UT-Pan American was fourth with 122 and North Texas was fifth.

The Broncs will return to action on October 8th at the Texas A&M Invitational in College Station.
