Our two best tournaments are at the beginning and the end of the season, and they will be a great way to measure how much our team improves. We will play Virginia and San Diego, which are quality opponents, as are San Jose State and UC Irvine. Southwest Texas is a perennial power in the Southland Conference, TCU is a talented team that plays in a strong conference, and New Mexico State is an up-and-coming program in the Sun Belt. We’re also looking forward to defending our title in the Independent Tournament. We should have an exciting team this year, and we hope everyone will come out and support us.” VB-20-02 050902 2002 TEXAS-PAN AMERICAN VOLLEYBALL SCHEDULE SAT. AUG. 24
