Freshman (2001):  Finished fifth in teh 400 meter run at the Angela Proctor Invitational with a time of 54.70...  Ran a season best 52.73 in the 400 meter run at the Texas A&M Invitational.

At Bastrop High School: Earned three letters as a member of the BHS Track and Field Team… Named to the Academic All-District team… Four-year member of the Bastrop Football Team… Also a member of the Power Lifting Team at BHS.

Personal: Born on November 12, 1981… Parents are Sharon and Philip Haydon… Has three siblings, Angelo Altumaro, Kristina Alturo and Jennifer… Member of the National Honor Society, Boys State and Chairman of the Pride and Patriotism Committee… Also an Eagle Scout… Plans to major in Electrical Engineering at UTPA.
