Westly Keating11/25/02-Keating 25th at NCAAs: Westly Keating finished 25th at the NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships, and was named an All-American.

11/21/02-Keating Heads For NCAAs:
Westly Keating will represent the Broncs at Monday's NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships.

11/16/02-Keating to NCAAs, Broncs 13th, Lady Broncs 18th:
Westly Keating qualified for the NCAAs, while the men were 13th and the women 18th at the NCAA South Central Regional Championships.

11/14/02-XC Set for Regionals: The Broncs and Lady Broncs will compete at the NCAA South Central Region Championships Saturday.

11/02/02-Keating Champion, Men 2nd:
Westley Keating finished first and the Broncs were second at the Southern Independent Championships.

10/17/02-Keating Honored for Third Time:
Westly Keating was once again named NCAA Division I Indendent Runner of the Week.

10/12/02-UTPA 7th, 16th at Texas A&M:
The Broncs finished seventh and the Lady Broncs 16th at the Texas A&M Invitational Saturday.

10/10/02-Broncs Visit Texas A&M: UTPA will participate in the Texas A&M Invitational Saturday.

10/2/02-Keating Honored Again:
For the second time in three weeks, Westly Keating was named NCAA Division I Independent Male Runner of the Week.

9/27/02-Broncs 1st, 3rd at SWTSU: Westly Keating finished first while the Broncs were first and the Lady Broncs third at Texas-San Antonio.

9/26/02-UTPA to run at SWTSU:
The Broncs and Lady Broncs will visit Southwest Texas State Friday.

9/18/02-Bronc Honored: Westly Keating was named the NCAA Division I Independent Male Runner of the Week.

9/14/02-Men 5th at SWTSU: Westly Keating finished third and the Broncs finished fifth at Southwest Texas State.

9/12/02-UTPA to Visit SWTSU: The UTPA cross country teams will visit Southwest Texas State Saturday.

8/30/02-Men Second in Opener: The Broncs finished second at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.

8/29/02-UTPA Starts 2002 Schedule: The Broncs will start Friday at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.

8/29/02-Molnar Named Assistant Coach: Doug Molnar has joined the staff as an assistant coach.

12/19/01-Simon Bowen Named Assistant Coach: The University of Texas-Pan American track and field and cross country program has added Simon Bowen as an assistant coach.

12/18/01-Robinson Promoted, Rodriguez Resigns:
Marisa Robinson has been promoted to the University of Texas-Pan American's top assistant cross country and track and field coaching position, replacing Gabe Rodriguez, who resigned to pursue full-time graduate study.

Broncs 14th at Regionals:
The University of Texas-Pan American men’s cross country team finished 14th and the women finished 12th at the NCAA South Central Region Championships at Texas A&M Saturday.

11/05/01-UTPA XC Team to Regionals:
The University of Texas-Pan American cross country team will try to qualify for the NCAA Championships when they compete at the NCAA Regional Championships at Texas A&M this Saturday. 

11/02/01-Cervantes 1st, Broncs 2nd In Dual Meet : Sophomore Hugo Cervantes had his best day as a Bronc when the University of Texas-Pan American hosted Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in a dual meet at the Ebony Hills Golf Course Friday. Cervantes finished first in the 7, 728 meter men’s race in 26:13.12 as the Broncs finished in second place. 

10/29/01-UTPA Hosts Final Tuneup: The University of Texas-Pan American cross country team will host their final tuneup for next weekend’s Region Championships when they host Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in a dual meet Friday morning at the Edinburg City Golf Course.

10/24/01-Marisa Robinson Named Assistant CC/Track and Field Coach:
Marisa Robinson, who began her track and field career in Montana and competed at Arkansas and San Diego State, is the newest member of the University of Texas-Pan American cross country and track and field coaching staff. 

10/19/01-Cervantes Leads Broncs at SWTSU Short Course:
The Broncs finished 6th at the Southwest Texas State Short Course Friday evening.
Hugo Cervantes led the men’s team by finishing sixth in 15:14.
