BRONCS TO BROADCAST HOME BASEBALL GAMES ON THE INTERNET

EDINBURG, TX- The University of Texas-Pan American’s remaining home baseball games will all be broadcast on the internet.

All 15 remaining home games are slated to be carried, beginning this weekend. Listeners will be able to hear the excitement of UTPA baseball in the Broncs’ first season at the new, state-of-the-art Edinburg Baseball Stadium.

Bernie Saenz will handle the play-by-play for Bronc baseball on the internet, ably assisted by former legendary Hall of Fame UTPA Head Coach Al Ogletree.

“I’m extremely pleased that all of our remaining home games will be broadcast on the internet,” said UTPA Director of Athletics William J. Weidner. “Bronc fans all over the country will now be able to follow their team.”

Coverage will begin this weekend, when UTPA hosts Houston Baptist in a doubleheader at 4 p.m. Friday. The Broncs will host Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in a doubleheader Saturday and a single game Sunday. The final home game of the season is set for Tuesday, April 30th, when UTPA hosts Incarnate Word in a doubleheader.
