TO BROADCAST HOME BASEBALL GAMES ON THE INTERNET
EDINBURG, TX- The University of Texas-Pan
American’s remaining home baseball games will all be broadcast on the
internet. All 15 remaining home games are slated to be
carried, beginning this weekend. Listeners will be able to hear the
excitement of UTPA baseball in the Broncs’ first season at the new,
state-of-the-art Edinburg Baseball Stadium. Bernie Saenz will handle the play-by-play for Bronc
baseball on the internet, ably assisted by former legendary Hall of Fame
UTPA Head Coach Al Ogletree. “I’m extremely pleased that all of our
remaining home games will be broadcast on the internet,” said UTPA
Director of Athletics William J. Weidner. “Bronc fans all over the
country will now be able to follow their team.” Coverage will begin this weekend, when UTPA hosts
Houston Baptist in a doubleheader at 4 p.m. Friday. The Broncs will host
Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in a doubleheader Saturday and a single
game Sunday. The final home game of the season is set for Tuesday, April
30th, when UTPA hosts Incarnate Word in a doubleheader. To access the broadcasts, log on to the UTPA web

athletics, click on baseball, and click on internet broadcasts, and
follow the instructions.
